Fight cellulite after summer: here’s how

Dear reader,

as a song by Adriano Celentano says… summer is already over, it always passes too quickly…

Vacations have just ended and we are already immersed in our daily routine: home, office, shopping, children … all activities that take up so much time and energies that we forget to take care of our cellulite.

We can start focusing on two actions that take up very little time: diet and physical activity.

One of the first precautions we can adopt is to limit the consumption of salt as much as possible: let’s avoid adding it to our dishes and, instead, opt for excellent spices. Salt is a real enemy of water retention, one of the factors that most influences the appearance of the annoying orange peel skin blemish.

Another important precaution is to always hydrate our body: in addition to the right amount of water, we can drink green tea, detox waters and draining herbal teas (both cold and hot) made with herbs such as birch, dandelion and horsetail.

Our diet must include also fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables such as celery, dandelion, watermelon, melon and fennel: all foods that promote diuresis.

As for physical activity, if you have the opportunity, you can choose water sports such as swimming or water aerobics: two excellent activities, effective in fighting cellulite. The movement favours the drainage of liquids and improves blood circulation.

If you’re short on time, you can consider taking brisk walks (better than running since it minimizes the production of lactic acid and free radicals), perhaps when you go to work or to do shopping.

In any case, my dear friend, I recommend you to ask your beautician for a thermo check with thermographic devices to analyse the condition of cellulite in a localized way: this will allow you to know the starting point and to decide for suitable aesthetic or medical aesthetic treatments.

The thermographic analysis of cellulite is easy, fast and non-invasive and allows the professional to have a clear mapping of the condition of the underlying tissues, as well as to classify the stage of the cellulite in order to undertake the best treatment, training or diet.

In the meantime, have you already made the test we have created for you to check your cellulite?

Finally, remember the words of Emma’s song: “I’m tired of being the way everyone wants me, I’m tired of living the way others want me…. I am beautiful, I am beautiful, I am beautiful, yes! I’m always beautiful!”
